MOSCOW, September 30 (RIA Novosti) - Kyrgyz Prime Minister Felix Kulov said Friday that he saw no obstacles to the return of former President Askar Akayev, who fled the country after being ousted in the March "Tulip Revolution."

"He can come back any time he wants to, and I see no obstacles to his return," Kulov told a news conference in Moscow.

The Kyrgyz parliament recently stripped Akayev and his family members of a number of special privileges that had been granted by the previous parliament.

When asked about Kyrgyz law enforcement claims against Akayev's family members, the premier said it was necessary to wait until the prosecutor's office released the evidence. "Then it will be clear whether this is a criminal or politically motivated case," he said.

Aidar Akayev, the ex-president's son and a member of the Kyrgyz parliament, was stripped of immunity after he was accused of extortion and money laundering.
