MOSCOW, October 1 (RIA Novosti) -- Beginning in October 1, the export tax for crude oil and crude oil products will be $179.9 per metric ton.
The order introducing the new tax was signed by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov, the government press service reported.
From August 1 through October 1, the oil export tax was $140 per ton.
The new tax is based on price dynamics in July and August.
