(Adds quote last para) MOSCOW, October 6 (RIA Novosti, Sofya Brykanova)-A jury in the southern Russian city of Rostov-on-Don cleared two Interior Ministry officers of committing murder in Chechnya on Thursday.
Senior Lieutenant Yevgeny Khudyakov and Lieutenant Sergei Arakcheyev had been accused of killing three employees of a construction firm in Grozny, the capital of the North Caucasus republic, in January 2003.
This was the second time the case had been heard, as the Military Collegium of Russia's Supreme Court had thrown out a previous non-guilty verdict.
"The jury finds Khudyakov and Arakcheyev innocent of all the charges," the foreman of the jury told the military court.
