MOSCOW, October 9 (RIA Novosti) - The Russian Emergency Situations Ministry said Sunday it would send help to earthquake-hit Pakistan. An Il-76 aircraft with 30 rescuers and equipment onboard will fly to Islamabad Sunday afternoon."The rescuers have all the necessary equipment to work in earthquake-hit areas for two weeks," a ministry spokesman said.
The 8-magnitude quake that struck Pakistan Saturday and was felt in India and Afghanistan left 18,000 killed and 41,000 injured.
