MAKHACHKALA, October 9 (RIA Novosti) - Four militants were killed in a special operation in downtown Makhachkala, the capital of the North Caucasian Republic of Daghestan, the local Interior Ministry said Sunday.
The police identified the militants who were members of Rasul Makasharipov's gang. He was eliminated in April.
Weapons, ammunition and explosives were found in the house where the militants had been hiding.
