MOSCOW, October 11 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's Svetlana Kuznetsova defeated Tuesday Emmanuelle Gagliarti from Switzerland in straight sets 6:0, 6:4 in Russia's premier tennis tournament, the Kremlin Cup.
Kuznetsova will play the winner of the match between her compatriots Maria Kirilenko and Vera Zvonareva in the second round of the $1,300,000 tournament.
