PARIS, October 11 (RIA Novosti) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov proposed Tuesday forming a Russia-EU mechanism similar to the existing Russia-NATO Council to resolve foreign security problems.
"The formation of this mechanism is a key task of Russia-EU relations," Lavrov said after a session of the Russian-French security council in Paris.
The Russian and French defense ministers attended the session.
