PARIS, October 14 (RIA Novosti, Andrei Nizamutdinov) - U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice will visit Moscow Friday in a change to her international schedule, State Department spokesman Sean McCormack said.
Although the spokesman did not divulge the details of Rice's trip to Moscow, American diplomatic sources said the secretary of state would discuss a wide range of issues in the Russian capital, including Iran's nuclear program, Iraq and the Middle East.
Rice arrived in Paris Thursday following a Central Asian tour, and was then scheduled to fly to Britain. Her agenda in Paris includes meetings with French President Jacques Chirac, and Foreign Minister Philippe Douste-Blazy.
According to McCormack, the secretary of state is scheduled to leave Moscow for London Saturday morning to meet with Foreign Secretary Jack Straw. On Sunday, she is scheduled to meet with British Prime Minister Tony Blair.
