MOSCOW, October 15 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's Yelena Dementyeva failed to advance to the finals of the Kremlin Cup, a premier Russian tennis tournament, Saturday. Dementyeva was defeated by Italy's Francesca Schiavone in two sets 3-6, 1-6 in the semifinals.
Schiavone will meet the winner of the match between Russia's Dinara Safina and France's Mary Pierce in the finals.
