MOSCOW, October 18 (RIA Novosti) - Slavneft, one of Russia's ten largest oil companies, increased its oil production to 17.95 million metric tons in the first nine months of 2005, up 11.1% year-on-year, the company's press office said Tuesday.
The company has continued to increase its average daily production, which totaled more than 66,000 metric tons per day in September, up 5% from last year, the press release said.
The company produced a total of 1.99 million metric tons of oil in September 2005, 5.5% up from 2004.
It refined 17.17 million metric tons of crude in the first nine months of 2005, up 5.9% from 2004.
In January-September 2005, Slavneft produced 3.1 million metric tons of gasoline, up 19.3% from 2004.
