MOSCOW, October 18 (RIA Novosti) - Gross profits of Gazprombank, a subsidiary of Russian natural gas monopoly Gazprom, in the first nine months of 2005 grew 27% year-on-year to 14.8 billion rubles ($518.9 million), the bank's press service said Tuesday.
During the period, the bank's assets increased by 28% to $15.25 billion. Gazprombank's equity capital rose by 12% to $1.43 billion.
The bank's debts climbed by 4% to $9.32 billion, clients' resources by 64% to $6.86 billion, and household deposits by 29% to $1.38 billion.
Gazprombank is one of Russia's three leading banks in terms of equity capital and assets.
