VILNIUS, October 19 (RIA Novosti, Vladimir Vodo) - The Lithuanian Foreign Ministry contacted the Russian Embassy Wednesday over damages caused by the Russian Su-27 Flanker fighter that crashed in Lithuania in September.
"According to the data submitted by the Lithuanian Prosecutor General's Office, the damage is estimated at 67,062.88 litas [$23,000]," the ministry's official website said.
However, the Prosecutor General's Office had earlier estimated the damage at $36,000.
The Lithuanian Prosecutor General's Office did not comment on the difference.
