MURMANSK, October 19 (RIA Novosti, Yekaterina Kozlova) - Norwegian coast guard inspectors, who remained on board the Elektron trawler after it set course for Russian waters, are set to board a Norwegian naval ship Thursday morning, a source in the regional border guard department said Wednesday.

Border guards plan for the inspectors to board the Norwegian naval ship on Thursday at 6.00-8.00 a.m. Moscow time (2.00-4.00 a.m. GMT) in the Motovsk Bay, where the weather is now calmer.

Currently the trawler, which is being escorted by the Admiral Levchenko anti-submarine vessel and the Tver coast guard vessel, is heading toward the port of Murmansk in the Russia's arctic. The estimated time of its arrival at the port is Thursday 10.00 a.m. Moscow time (6.00 a.m. GMT).

The Elektron trawler was detained by the Norwegian Coast Guard on October 15 for alleged fishing violations in Norwegian protected waters, and began to follow authorities to port as ordered. However, the trawler changed course October 16 and headed for Russian waters with two Norwegian inspectors on board.
