MOSCOW, October 20 (RIA Novosti) - The unaudited net profit of Russian state-owned gas giant Gazprom grew 34% for the first quarter of 2005, the company's press service said Thursday.
The service said the Q105 profit hit 92,397 million rubles ($3.23 billion), against 68,395 million rubles ($2.39 billion) in Q104.
The sales earnings, minus excise, VAT and customs payments, increased by 33% against the same period last year to reach 339,181 million rubles ($11.85 billion).
