MOSCOW, October 22 (RIA Novosti) - The Georgian ambassador to Russia was summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry after Georgian law enforcement agencies detained a Russian military observer in Gori, the ministry said Saturday.
"The Russian side expressed a resolute protest and flatly demanded that Lt. Col. Boiko be immediately released," the ministry said in a statement.
