KIEV, October 23 (RIA Novosti) - Informal Ukraine-NATO high-level consultations are beginning in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, the Ukrainian Defense Ministry said in a statement Sunday.
NATO Secretary General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer, Ukrainian Defense Minister Anatoliy Hrytsenko and the defense ministers from the alliance's member states will discuss the implementation of defense policy, the reformation of Ukraine's armed forces and defense control improvement, the document said.
