MOSCOW, October 23 (RIA Novosti) - The Federal Security Service has prevented a terrorist act against federal troops in the North Caucasian Republic of Ingushetia, the press office of the FSB regional department said Sunday.
"During their search operations Sunday to locate and neutralize illegal armed formations in the North Caucasus, security officers found a hideout with a powerful self-made explosive device equivalent to about 10 kilograms of TNT," the press office said.
The bomb was intended for a terrorist act against federal troops located in the region, the press office said.
