MOSCOW, October 27 (RIA Novosti) -Russian telecommunications giant CenterTelecom reported a 42.8% growth Thursday in Q3 net profits over Q2.
Net profits rose from $3.95 million in Q2 to $5.64 million in Q3, the company said in a statement.
Higher profits are attributed to the increase in tariffs and the reduction of expenses on the creation of a reserve fund on doubtful receivables and favorable currency exchange rates.
CenterTelecom is part of the Svyazinvest holding and operates mainly in the Central federal district.
