MOSCOW, October 28 (RIA Novosti) - The wife of Menatep head Platon Lebedev, who is serving an eight-year term in a penal colony in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District, arrived in West Siberia Friday to visit her husband, Lebedev's lawyer said.
Prison authorities allowed Natalia Lebedev to stay with her husband for several hours, Yevgeny Baru said.
Lebedev's wife said her husband had been transferred to an ordinary cell after quarantine, Baru said, adding that he and another lawyer intended to visit their client Sunday.
Earlier this week, the lawyers for Lebedev's business partner, former Yukos CEO Mikhail Khodorkovsky, met with their client in a penal colony in the Chita region, East Siberia. Khodorkovsky's wife, Inna, was permitted a three-day stay with her husband.
