MOSCOW, November 3 (RIA Novosti) - Representatives of U.S. consulting group DeGolyer & MacNaughton and Russia's natural gas monopoly Gazprom met Thursday to discuss prospects for further bilateral cooperation, Gazprom said in a news release.
Deputy Chairman of Gazprom's Board of Directors Alexander Ananenkov updated the American company's head on the progress of replenishing the stock of hydrocarbons in order to reach parity with volumes of production.
Pro-active work in this field and the independent audit of hydrocarbon stocks at Gazprom deposits in accordance with international standards will increase the investment attractiveness of the company's major projects and its capitalization.
DeGolyer & MacNaughton has audited Gazprom's hydrocarbon stocks since 1997.
