CHERKESSK, November 5 (RIA Novosti) - Unidentified assailants in the Russian republic of Karachayevo-Cherkessia fired on a mini-bus and robbed its passengers, wounding two people on November 4, the republic's Interior Ministry said Saturday.
"Six unidentified persons in a Zhiguli car fired on a Mercedes mini-bus from assault rifles and then robbed the passengers at gunpoint of more than 280,000 rubles (about $10,000)," an Interior Ministry spokesman said.
A manhunt has been mounted for the assailants. Criminal proceedings were launched.
