BEIJING, November 5 (RIA Novosti, Alexei Yefimov) - A crisis center that would render psychological support to children who suffered in the September 2004 school siege in the Russian city of Beslan should be built there, well-known pediatric surgeon Leonid Roshal said Saturday.
Roshal, who is China on a visit, highly assessed the Russian-Chinese agreement to rehabilitate Beslan children in China.
"[But] today the problem rather concerns not the physical but psychological rehabilitation of children, and all methods that contribute to attaining this goal are very important," Roshal said. "Work in Beslan must be continued for decades."
