MOSCOW, November 10 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's foreign trade in the first nine months of 2005 grew 33.9% year on year reaching $242.3 billion, the Russian Federal Customs Service said Thursday in a news release.
Trade with countries outside the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) totaled $205 billion, up 38.6% year on year. Trade with CIS countries totaled $37.2 billion, up 12.5%.
The export surplus to non-CIS countries totaled $95.4 billion during the first nine months of the year, up from $67 billion. The surplus with CIS countries was $9.6 billion, up from $7.9 billion.
