MOSCOW, November 10 (RIA Novosti) - Democrats plan to hold an anti-Nazi rally in Moscow in response to the march of radical nationalist movements on November 4, the deputy chairman of the Yabloko party said Thursday.
"We want to hold a democratic rally on November 27 to show that Moscow will not allow an advance of Nazism," Sergei Mitrokhin said.
Mitrokhin condemned the Right March staged on the Day of National Unity that had gathered 3,000 people. Marchers chanted nationalist slogans like "Russia for Russians."
"I think the organizers of that rally insulted our city, the capital of the country that defeated Nazism," Mitrokhin said.
He said he hoped that other democratic parties, including the Union of Rights Forces (SPS), Green Russia, etc., would join the Yabloko rally.
