MOSCOW, November 12 (RIA Novosti) - Russian Maria Sharapova will meet with French Amelie Mauresmo in WTA Tour Championships semifinals in Los Angeles.
Mary Pierce continued her great form with a win over Amelie Mauresmo 2:6, 6:4, 6:2, leading the Black group, and will now play American Lindsay Davenport who leads the Green group.
In a match between Black group outsiders, Belgian Kim Clijsters knocked out Russian Elena Dementieva in two sets, 6:2, 6:3.
Sharapova-Mauresmo and Davenport-Pierce semifinal matches will be played Saturday, November 12, with the winner of the WTA Tour this year to be determined on Sunday.
