TBILISI, November 13 (RIA Novosti, Marina Kvaratskhelia) - About 300 supporters of the former Georgian foreign minister held a protest march Sunday against new amendments to Georgia's Criminal Code.

Members of the Salome Zourabichvili Movement protested against the ban on TV broadcast of court trials, video and photo coverage of conditions in prisons and penal colonies, the introduction of the institute of anonymous witnesses and abolition of house arrest.

Ex-minister's supporters consider changes proposed by the parliamentary juridical committee and recently adopted by the Georgian parliament in the first reading as anti-democratic and violating human rights.
