MOSCOW, November 14 (RIA Novosti) - President Vladimir Putin said Monday he hoped newly-appointed First Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev would soon present a concrete plan for the nation's healthcare sector, particularly on the development of high-tech medical centers.
"I expect Dmitry [Medvedev] to submit practical plans on national healthcare and other projects in the near future when he assumes his government post," Putin said at a government session.
He added that he expected a proper report from Medvedev on the issue for himself and for the prime minister.
Health and Social Development Minister Mikhail Zurabov said the government and State Duma (the lower house of parliament) would consider a report on the development of high-tech medical centers in Russia that had been "well-prepared for the third reading."
"The documents are ready for Thursday's discussion at the session of the council for the implementation of priority national projects," Zurabov said.
