MOSCOW, November 17 (RIA Novosti) - Net profits of Russian diamond giant Alrosa grew 12.5% year on year in the first nine months of 2005 reaching more than $368 million, the company's press service said Thursday.
The company's total receipts in January-September 2005 stood at $1.93 billion, a 16.2% growth year on year.
Alrosa produced diamonds worth about $1.3 billion (a 3.9% growth) during the period. The company's total sales increased by 18.2% to reach $1.75 billion.
