BUSAN (South Korea), November 19 (RIA Novosti) - Russian-Vietnamese trade in 2005 could exceed $1 billion, Russian President Vladimir Putin said Saturday at a meeting with Vietnamese President Tran Duc Luong.
The meeting took place at the Russian leader's residence at Mariott hotel during a session of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Forum.
"Development of relations with Vietnam is a foreign policy priority for Russia. I am pleased to say that these relations are also progressing in the economic sphere. This year, our trade could surpass the $1 billion level," Putin said.
