S.Korea's Eximbank to raise credit limits for some Russian banks

BUSAN (South Korea), November 19 (RIA Novosti) - South Korea's Eximbank is going to raise credit limits for a number of Russian banks, while the Russian side will recommend financially sound Russian banks for additional Eximbank loans, the Russian-South Korean joint Action Plan for Trade and Economic Cooperation adopted by the two presidents Saturday, said.

Russia and South Korea also agreed to simplify customs clearance and visa procedures to advance bilateral trade and investment.

South Korea also supported Russia's bid to join the WTO. "The Republic of Korea will continue interaction with Russia, assisting its effort to join the WTO," the document says.
