MOSCOW, November 21 (RIA Novosti) - Russian oil company Slavneft has increased its oil production in October by 8.2% over 2004, reaching 2.099 million tons, a company's press release said.
Oil production in January-October 2005 hit 20.048 million, 10.8% higher than in 2004.
Average daily oil production is also on the up. It stood at 64,150 tons in January, but reached 67,690 tons in October, 8% higher against October of last year.
Russian energy giant Gazprom owns Slavneft equally with TNK-BP after acquiring its stake through the $13.1 billion purchase of Sibneft.
