ASTANA, November 25 (RIA Novosti) - Kazakhstan's joining the World Trade Organization is a necessary and timely step, the president of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development said Friday.
Jean Lemiere said after talks on Kazakhstan's admission to the WTO in Astana that Kazakhstan's main foreign trade partners were already members of the WTO or aspired to join the organization and that with its bid, the country would attract even more investment.
