MOSCOW, November 25 (RIA Novosti) - A Tu-205 passenger liner made a safe emergency landing at the airport of Khabarovsk in Russia's Far East, the Emergency Situations Ministry said Friday.
None of the 131 passengers and nine crewmembers aboard the plane was hurt in the accident, caused by a failure in the plane's nose landing gear.
The airliner, bound for Moscow, was ordered to circle the airport for five hours to expend fuel to aid landing.
A special commission has been set up to investigate the accident.
