MOSCOW, November 25 (RIA Novosti) -Russia's hydrometeorological agency forecasted Friday that pollution of the Amur River near the Far Eastern city of Khabarovsk would not exceed the maximum allowable concentration (mac) levels.
"The nitrobenzene concentration in the Amur near Khabarovsk will be less than one mac," a press release said.
The agency, however, said nitrobenzene concentration near the village of Leninskoye, close to the Chinese border, might be 1.5-2 times above mac in the next two or three days.
