MOSCOW, November 25 (RIA Novosti) - Net profits of Russian energy giant Gazprom stood at $5.4 billion in the first half of 2005 against $3.2 billion in the first half of 2004, the company said in a consolidated transitional non-audited report Friday.
Gazprom's profit on sales was $7.3 billion in the first half of 2005 ($4.3 in 2004).
The company's profit before taxation was $7.4 billion in January-June 2005 ($4.6 billion in 2004).
