KRASNOYARSK, November 26 (RIA Novosti) - Polar bear has become a new symbol of the pro-presidential United Russia party Saturday.
The sixth party congress in Krasnoyarsk unanimously approved the new symbol replacing the former symbol, brown bear.
The new symbol is the Russian national flag against a blue background with a polar bear under the flag and the name of the party, United Russia.
"The party's central executive committee worked a great deal to modernize the symbol," committee chairman Andrei Vorobyov said.
