CHISINAU, November 28 (RIA Novosti, Vladimir Novosadyuk) - Moldova has begun exporting domestically-produced oil-derived products for the first time, the country's ministry of industry and infrastructure said Monday.
According to the ministry, 250 metric tons of the M-40 fuel oil and 70 tons of industrial oil produced at the Az Petrol Moldova refinery by the REDECO-Moldova company have been exported to Bulgaria.
Az Petrol Moldova opened half a year ago and is the country's only refinery. Its current annual capacity is 30,000 tons of oil-derived products, which will be increased to 150,000 tons.
