MOSCOW, November 30 (RIA Novosti) - The intake from Russian military technical cooperation in 2005 may exceed $5 billion, a defense industry official said Wednesday.
"The plan for this year at $5.1 billion will be implemented and maybe even over-implemented," said Alexander Denisov, the first deputy head of the Federal Service for Military and Technical Cooperation.
According to Denisov, 50-60% of the money will come from navy contracts, no less than 30% will be brought in by air force contracts and the rest will be derived from air defense contracts.
Denisov said Russia had signed intergovernmental agreements on military cooperation with more than 50 countries.
