MOSCOW, December 2 (RIA Novosti) - Russia will pay off $641.81 million in external debt in December 2005, the Finance Ministry said Friday.
Of this sum, $223.93 million of principal will be repaid to official creditor countries and $70.505 million will be paid in interest. Another $50.4 million in principal and $17.6 million in interest will be paid to international financial organizations.
Coupon payouts on sovereign Eurobonds in December will total $279.375 million.
According to the ministry's preliminary calculations, in November $76.102 million in debt principal was repaid to official creditor countries and $7.336 million in interest. To international financial organizations, $16.6 million and $9.7 million was paid in principal and interest, respectively.
