MOSCOW, December 5 (RIA Novosti, Peter Lavelle)-Russia crude oil production increased 2.7% year-on-year in 11M05 to 9.4mbpd and set a new record of 9.6mbpd in November. Surgutneftegaz led the way with 7.63% year-on-year production growth in 11M05 while TNK-BP's production was only marginally slower at 7.6% year-on-year.
Sibneft was again the underperformer, showing a 2.3% year-on-year decline in production for 11M05. Excluding Yukos and Rosneft, where comparisons were distorted by the changes in
assets, Russia's majors' production increased 5% during the first 11 months of the year.
