NAZRAN, December 8 (RIA Novosti) - A suspect in a 2004 attack on the North Caucasus republic of Ingushetia was detained in a special operation Thursday, a law enforcement source said.
The source said the militant, whose identity he declined to disclose, had been detained in the Malogbeksy district in northern Ingushetia and interrogated to establish his involvement in other crimes.
In June, 78 people died and 114 were wounded in militant attacks on Ingushetia. Militants stole 1,056 small arms and burnt down a number of government buildings.
