MOSCOW, December 8 (RIA Novosti) - Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller discussed the increase of LNG supplies to the U.S. market with CEO of the Financial Services Forum Donald L. Evans, the Russian energy giant said Thursday.
"The sides highly appraised the work on the development of Gazprom's cooperation with U.S. partners in this sphere," Gazprom said.
The talks also focused on the joint development of the Shtokman gas condensate field in the Barents Sea and the necessity to expand regasification facilities in the United States.
Gazprom said its first LNG tanker had arrived at the regasification terminal in Maryland in September under an agreement with Shell Western BV and BG Group.
An agreement on the second tanker, which arrived in the U.S. in December, was signed with Gaz de France, MED LNG&Gas and Shell.
