MOSCOW, December 17 (RIA Novosti) - In 2008, Russia will see the highest living standards, Finance Minister Alexei Kudrin said Saturday. "We have not reached the level of 1990 yet," Kudrin told the Rossiya TV channel.
Despite the lack of many goods, Russians, for instance, doctors and teachers lived better in 1990 than today, he said.
"In 2007, we will reach the level of 1990 and in 2008, we will live better than in that historic period," Kudrin said.
