MOSCOW, December 17 (RIA Novosti) - One of the world's greatest tenors Jose Carreras will give a charity concert in Moscow's State Kremlin Palace December 19.
Carreras said Saturday that he was happy to return to Russia and perform in the country of great music traditions.
Carreras will perform with opera star Maria Guleghina, children's choir Preobrazhenuiye (Transfiguration) and David Gimenez's orchestra.
The first part of the concert will be a mixture of opera, pop and spiritual music and the second part will be dedicated to upcoming Christmas.
Carreras said the program of his concert would be light and festive.
The money raised from the charity event will be handed to the Russian children's clinic.
