HONG KONG, December 17 (RIA Novosti) - Russia will complete all the bilateral talks on its accession to the World Trade Organization in the first months of 2006, Economic Development and Trade Minister German Gref said Saturday.
"We will not be able to complete all talks by January 1 as we planned," Gref said at the WTO Ministerial conference in Hong Kong.
Gref also said Russia would sign a protocol on the completion of the bilateral talks on its WTO accession with India in mid-January 2006.
He said Russia's participation in the conference was successful.
"We held talks with more than ten countries and signed four protocols, with Paraguay, the Philippines, Nicaragua and Canada," Gref said adding that all these countries were important.
"I am happy that we finally reached an agreement," he said.
According to the minister, Russia has to complete WTO talks with four countries, the United States, Switzerland, Australia and Colombia.
