MOSCOW, December 18 (RIA Novosti) - About 400 police officers will provide security at today's authorized anti-fascist rally in downtown Moscow, the local law enforcement bodies said Sunday.
The rally, expected to gather about 1,500 people, aims to express the protest of the Moscow democratic public against extremism and draw the attention of the city authorities to the danger of its manifestations.
The rally will start at 13:45 Moscow time (10:45 a.m. GMT) from Chistiye Prudy metro station and will proceed towards Lubyanskaya square where a meeting will be held. The events will come to an end after 15:00 Moscow time (12:00 p.m. GMT), the Moscow law enforcement bodies said.
