Foreign currency exchange rates as fixed by Central Bank of Russia for December 20

MOSCOW, December 19 (RIA Novosti) - The following rates of exchange of foreign currencies to the ruble of the Russian Federation have been fixed for the purposes of accounting and customs duty payments from December 20, 2005:

1 Australian dollar - 21.3597 rubles

1 British pound sterling - 50.6985 rubles

1,000 Belarusian rubles - 13.3070 rubles

10 Danish krones - 46.1251 rubles

1 US dollar - 28.6400 rubles

1 euro - 34.4138 rubles

100 Icelandic krones - 45.9933 rubles

100 Kazakh tenges - 21.4094 rubles

1 Canadian dollar - 24.7195 rubles

1 new Turkish lira - 21.1678 rubles

10 Norwegian krones - 43.1092 rubles

1 unit of conditional drawing rights - 41.3098 rubles

1 Singapore dollar - 17.1867 rubles

10 Ukrainian hryvnias - 56.3081 rubles

10 Swedish kronas - 36.3535 rubles

1 Swiss franc - 22.1861 rubles

100 Japanese yen - 24.5858 rubles

The foreign currency exchange rates to the ruble of the Russian Federation entail no obligation on the part of the Bank of Russia to buy or sell the currencies according to the above rates.
