MOSCOW, December 23 (RIA Novosti) - Russian natural gas giant Gazprom is not holding any negotiations with Yukos on the purchase of a 20% stake in oil major Sibneft, a senior Gazprom official said Friday.
"Currently, we are not holding any negotiations on the return of the 20% stake," Gazprom Deputy Board Chairman and newly elected Sibneft President Alexander Ryazanov said.
The 20% stake was frozen after Yukos and Sibneft decided against their merger.
