MOSCOW, December 23 (RIA Novosti) - Shareholders of oil major Sibneft held an extraordinary meeting Friday to elect a new Board of Directors that includes seven executives from energy giant Gazprom and two from embattled oil major Yukos, the company said Friday.
The directors of Sibneft now include Gazprom head Alexei Miller, Gazprom Deputy Board Chairman Alexander Ryazanov, also appointed Sibneft President, Gazprom Deputy Board Chairman and head of finance Andrei Kruglov, Kirill Seleznyov, head of marketing, natural gas processing and liquid hydrocarbons at Gazprom, Vasily Podyuk, head of Gazprom's production, gas condensate and oil department and deputy head of Gazprom's legal department Nikolai Dubik.
Yury Starodubtsev, Vice-President of Yukos EP, the oil major's subsidiary, and Yury Khudyakov, an executive at another Yukos subsidiary, Yukos-RM, also joined the company.
