MOSCOW, December 23 (RIA Novosti) - Ukraine is trying to push its problem with Russia in the natural gas sector beyond the boundaries of commercial bilateral talks, the official spokesman of the Russian Foreign Ministry said Friday.
"It has been Russia's position that the problem in relations with Ukraine must be settled at the level of the two countries' economic institutions. We have repeatedly called on the Ukrainian side not to politicize the issue," Mikhail Kamynin said, commenting on the December 21 meeting between Ukrainian Prime Minister Yuriy Yekhanurov and the ambassadors of several Western countries.
